How to install

🤖 Android (Chrome)

  1. 1Open episodary.app in Chrome.
  2. 2Tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner.
  3. 3Tap “Add to Home screen” → “Install”.
  4. 4Episodary appears on your home screen like any other app.

💡 Use Chrome for this — Samsung Internet shows a false “unsafe app” warning during install. Chrome may also show an “Install app” banner at the bottom — one tap and you're done.

🍎 iPhone & iPad (Safari)

  1. 1Open episodary.app in Safari or Chrome.
  2. 2Tap the Share button — the square with the arrow ↑.
  3. 3Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. 4Tap “Add” — the Episodary icon lands on your home screen.

💡 On iPhones older than iOS 16.4 only Safari can do this — if you don't see “Add to Home Screen”, open the site in Safari.

💻 Computer (Chrome / Edge)

  1. 1Open episodary.app in Chrome or Edge.
  2. 2Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (screen with ↓).
  3. 3Click “Install” — Episodary opens in its own window and lands in your taskbar / dock.

FAQ

Why isn't it in the App Store / Google Play?

Episodary is an installable web app (PWA) — the same tech Twitter, Uber and Starbucks use. Installing from the browser keeps it 100% free for everyone, with instant updates and no store taking a cut.

Does it work offline?

The app opens and recently visited pages load even with a bad connection. You need internet to sync your tracking and load new posters.

Is it the same as the website?

Yes — one account, one library. Track an episode on your phone, it's instantly there on your laptop.

How do I get new-episode notifications?

After installing, open your Library and tap the notification bell to enable premiere alerts.
