David Dastmalchian is an American actor, writer, and producer, known especially for his work in science fiction and superhero films and television series. He has had roles in three films directed by Denis Villeneuve: Prisoners (2013); Blade Runner 2049 (2017); and Dune (2021), in which he portrayed Piter De Vries.
