Miss Tacuarembó

The movie is a musical comedy that tells the story of Natalia, a very christian girl growing at the 80s under the influence of the soap opera Cristal at the far and small city of Tacuarembo, Uruguay, she discovers that being crowned as Miss Tacuarembo and winning tickets to Buenos Aires is the only possibility she has in order to leave her boring native town, and emigrate to the big city where she would be able to be a star. However her adult life working at Cristo Park, is still very far from what she always dreamed. This is a comedy full of the fantasy about a girl who thinks that Jesus is such a star as Madonna.
