In the ninth entry if Universal's "Crime Club" series, a tag-line series identification taken from a Crime Book-of-the-Month Club...and not the name of the Universal production company, rookie policeman Danny Blake learns from Police Captain Bill Dugan, uncle of Danny's sweetheart, Kathleen Dugan, that forensics plays a larger part in capturing and convicting criminals than Danny's preferred mash-and-bash methods...but a gun also comes in handy.
